Drink driver charged after traffic, Mowbray River

A 17-year-old Bayview heights woman was charged with drink driving on Saturday night following a single vehicle traffic crash in Mowbray River Road near Port Douglas. Port Douglas Police attended the scene at about 10pm and the woman allegedly returned a breath alcohol reading of .059%. She is due to appear in the Mossman Magistrates Court on September 1.
