Drink driver charged following traffic crash, Portsmith

Police were called to a single vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of Draper and Comport Streets at about 4.30pm yesterday. A 39-year-old Manunda man allegedly returned a breath alcohol reading of 0.152%. He was charged with driving under the influence of liquor and is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on December 23. The man was not injured as a result of the crash.
