A 17-year-old Bentley Park man was lucky to escape injury following an early morning traffic crash on Wednesday. It is alleged the man was driving west along Foster Road at about 2.15am when he lost control of his car and collided with a parked vehicle. The man allegedly returned a breath alcohol reading of .101 per cent. He was subsequently charged with drink driving and is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on February 9.
