A 53-year-old North Cairns man was arrested at the Cairns Airport after arriving on a domestic flight on Friday morning. Detectives from the Far Northern Regional Drug Squad, assisted by Airport Uniform Police arrested a man and later took possession of a parcel which allegedly contained an illegal substance. The 53-year-old has been charged with aggravated possession and supply of a dangerous drug and is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on March 26.
