Category: Abandoned Ski Areas
**October 2010**
Trails: Fairly well grown in at this point, especially near the bottom of the old ski area. The top is more open and, I'm presuming because of the elevation, regeneration has been much slower there. A stream runs across the base area now, which was most likely here when the ski area operated as well.
Lifts: No remnants found, though if you use your imagination you can see where it looked like a lift ran, straight up the middle of the old ski area.
Facilities: The area is now known as "Camp Sacramento," and there's lots of seasonal use cottages and lodge-like buildings adjacent to the old slope. I'm pretty sure these had something to do with the ski operation.
Accessibility: A road on the east side of the property is now private, and the Camp Sacramento Area was gated off when I (briefly) visited as well. That stream crossing through the base area really messes things up for going straight up the slope unfortunately.
