We spent a tide at the lightstation and all these photos were taken from the walkway near the fog building. It was calm and quiet out there and you could hear whales spouting and breathing from a long way away. You could also hear the gasps of breathing porpoise, I must have counted 100 porpoise before I stopped counting. The whales that were close to the rocks were amazing to hear and watch, it is an unforgettable experience to be there and see these majestic creatures. Joyce
