Four arrested over stolen liquor, Bungalow

Police arrested three men aged 19, 20 and 21 and a 21 year old woman in the early hours of Sunday morning following the alleged theft of a keg of beer from the premises of a Spence Street liquor store. The group allegedly scaled a fence and stole the item before placing it in a vehicle and fleeing the scene. Police intercepted the vehicle near Rose Street, Westcourt a short time later. All four were charged with stealing and are due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court later this month.
