32-year-old North Cairns man was charged by Cairns Property Crime Squad detectives on Thursday after he allegedly stole whitegoods and household items from a rental property. It is alleged the man stole the items, including a clothes dryer; a microwave oven; a washing A machine and a television, from a house he had previously rented. Some of the property had allegedly been sold to a pawnbroker. He was charged with stealing and fraud and is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court in April.
