Further youths arrested over break-ins, Cairns

Child Protection and Investigation Unit detectives arrested and charged two youths yesterday in relation to two separate and unrelated break-ins. A 12-year-old boy was charged with one count of burglary following an investigation into a burglary at a Digger Street unit in mid-August. He is due to appear in the Cairns Children’s Court on August 25. The boy’s arrest comes after two other male youths aged 11 & 15 were charged in relation to the same incident last week.  QP1000749502
