An unmatched state-of-the-art facility, the Gallery 37 Center for the Arts was established to nurture the creativity and innovation that energizes our communities and shapes our collective future. The Center for the Arts establishes a nucleus for Gallery 37's award-winning job training programs, while inviting people of all ages to explore a variety of artistic disciplines. Gallery 37 Center is located on Randolph Street, just west of Michigan Avenue.

Through public programs held in the Center's 30 instructional spaces, free dance, jazz and drama performances, career training workshops, advanced art education courses and exhibits of artwork by youth, the Center provides a welcoming forum in which young people, professionals, families, educators, senior citizens, professional artists and interested visitors can come together to create and observe art and performance. In this space, observers and participants are encouraged to express and enjoy themselves while bridging divides of age, race and class.
