During this evening workshop will look at how we use and sometimes abuse pesticides to cure, and sometimes cause problems. Introductory in nature, we will get familiar with the range of pesticides available, their toxicity, their applications and their alternatives. If time and weather permits we may walk in the Botanical Garden to view pest problems and the methods by which we address them.
