The Ginza Shiseido Building is located on a highly prized and prominent corner of Ginza Dori. The building completed in 2001 and designed by Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill, is located on the site of the former Shiseido head office which was built in the 1930's, which was previously the site of Shiseido's Western style pharmacy in 1872.
The Ginza Shiseido Building houses the famous Shiseido Parlour (restaurant), Shiseido Gallery and Faro Shiseido. There are several Shiseido buildings in Ginza including Shiseido Ginza, on the side of the intersection and the French restaurant "L'Osier" which is located in Namiki Street.
