The Grand Canyon FFA chapter constructed a hoop house/portable greenhouse to grow small vegetable crops hydroponically and in planting beds. The FFA members built upon their existing relationship with the local food pantry by providing fresh vegetables year-round. The members also used the site for educating the community at-large about the care and maintenance of home or indoor gardens.
