Review: Grossmont College Children's Garden By Public Artist Jim Wilsterman and Grossmont College Art Department Students

Description: This Garden was created for the College Child Development Center by Artist Jim Wilsterman and Grossmont College Sculpture Students. It consists of Granite pathways carved in local black granite inlayed with precious and semi-precious gemstones (San Diego County is know as the gemstone capital of north- america). The walls of the garden are lined with hammered copper images based upon local Native American petroglyphs, and are intended to create an awareness of Native American history.
