This trail meanders through several creek crossings and the hardwood forest near Kinkaid Lake. The trail provides access to Hidden Cove, Deer Run Trail and Kinkaid Lake Trail System.
Facilities: Parking lot at Gum Ridge YCC Camp will accommodate horse trailers. Parking lot at Johnson Creek Recreation Area will accommodate horse trailers, restrooms and drinking water available.
Dispersed camping is allowed.
