Hampstead Ski Club (Morris Hill)
Category: Abandoned Ski Areas
Trails: The main tow liftline is still kept clear and maintained today (although it was pretty overgrown with taller grasses during this visit), but was not very wide by ski slope standards, if in fact this was the only slope which was offered. Smaller side trails still existed also in the woods on the south side of the hill.
Lifts: Two of the intermediary ropetow towers still stood, near the edge of the woods. Motor and return bullwheel long gone.
Facilities: None existed when the ski area was in operation, even less there now.
Accessibility: A very nice private home stands at the former ski area summit now, but un-posted trails lead down to the slope from the adjacent cemetery.
Skiability: Still possible, and supposedly, according the NELSAP page, still done.
