The Grenada Chocolate Company, a cooperative of organic cacao farmers and chocolate makers, is located in Hermitage,St. Patrick’s Parish, north of Belmont. The cooperative produces a "high-quality" dark chocolate using their own extracted cocoa butter, vanilla from Costa Rica, organic soy-based lecithin emulsifier and sugar. Their machines are powered by solar-electric energy.
