High range drink driver, Earlville

A 35-year-old Earlville man was intercepted on Mulgrave Road early this morning following information received from motorists travelling on the Bruce Highway. Police spoke with the man at about 12.30am and he allegedly returned a breath alcohol reading of .199%. He was charged with driving under the influence of liquor or a drug and is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on April 28.
