High-speed traffic at the merge point

This is a pretty dicey spot, where you have to dash across fast-moving traffic.

Perhaps completing the sidewalk along this stretch of Forbes would be warranted, but I'm personally not sure how that could be done.

The roadway approaching Forbes from the parkway should have rumble strips ground into to it, in order to warn motorists that they are approaching a 25mph zone, and that speed limit should be enforced.
