Fantastic drive, pictures here taken new years day we had to turn back at the slate mine as a car had gone off in the snow. Try staying in keswick and drive the Whinlatter pass to the Honnister pass. Past Buttermere and back through Borrowdale to Keswick for a pint and a warm fire in the Dog & Gun
