Smithfield detectives have released images of a man that they believe may be able to assist inquiries following the assault and robbery of a bus driver at Clifton Beach. About 9.00 on Saturday night it is alleged that a male was consuming liquor on the bus and was ordered off the bus by the driver. The man then allegedly grabbed money from the fare till and allegedly punched the driver before damaging communication equipment on the bus.
