India has not made any statements on the amount of nuclear weapons that they have but the NRDC estimates that they have 30-35 nuclear warheads. With this, India is also still believed to be producing even more nuclear weapons.
India has declared a "no-first use" policy that they came up with in 1999. Since India has not said how many warheads it has, it is hard to determine how many it does have because it is said that India has enough materials to make around 100 warheads.
India is said to have a very well-developed biotechnology department. To add to this, India has highly qualified scientists that specialize in infectious and lethal pathogens. In these facilities, scientists are also developing things such as gas masks, suits and other devices that work against pathogens that may used against them in an attack.
