12 Year Old, neutered male Jack Russell (or Parson's) Terrier was taken from a local pet shop in the College Park- Rhode Island Avenue area on September 9th between 4-4:30pm. One of the individuals involved claimed to be members the PG Police Department and both claimed to be neighbors. The pet store worker released the dog to these "good samaritans" without contacting us via the information on his collar, talking with the original person who found the dog or verifying any further information other than their statements. Reports have been put in with the Police Department and the local Animal Shelters have been notified.
Our children are devastated and we'd love to get our dog back!
