The Underground Railroad

According to the book, how did the Underground Railroad get its name and what are the different parts of this railroad?

The underground railroad got it's from the slave catchers. It was the slave catchers' job to find and return run away slaves to their owners but if the slaves were being helped by an organization of individuals called Abolitionists the slaves seemed to dissapear underground. The slave catchers soon termed the name Underground Railroad for this organization.
Stations: The homes which housed runaway slaves and sent them farther north.
Station Masters: The people who lived in the 'stations' and aided slaves.
Tracks: The roads and trails the slaves followed.
Freight or packages: the runaway slaves.
Dry goods: women slaves
Hardware: men slaves
