Things To Do and See in Historic Jefferson Texas

Built in 1888, this former Federal Court House and Post Office is now the home of the Jefferson Historical Society and Museum. Outside you will find a magnolia tree planted as a seedling by former First Lady, Lady Bird Johnson, from the tree on the White House lawn, planted during the term of President Andrew Jackson.

The museum is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
