Randy Emert said he and friends heard of a creature in the Cole Hollow area, and in the past two months had seen it twice. It was between 8 and 12 feet tall, kinda white, and moves quick. He said footprints with three big toes were all around there and had been seen by many of his friends, and that the creature lets out a long screech kinda like a steam whistle. A friend in Wisconsin has the track photos. Mrs. Ann Kammerer, 607 E. Republic, said all her children, and her daughter-in-law, had seen the creature.
