The John Marshall FFA chapter in partnership with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) turned a piece of dilapidated government land into a hunting and recreational area that caters to the local handicap population. Â Phase 1 of the project included making the land accessible to people and ADA compliant, so the students began by building one path and one hunt area. The students also planted a food lot with water fowl mix to increase the number of wildlife in the area.
