I studied Fine Arts at the Kootenay School of Art in Nelson, B.C., traveled for a while, then moved to Vancouver in the early 70’s. I continued my studies at Langara City College, Vancouver Art School, and later at the Emily Carr College of Art and Design, majoring in printmaking and painting.

My family and friends, the love of nature, music and colours are what inspire me. I try to capture that sense of wonder I feel when faced with this awesome beauty before me. I love drawing and painting landscapes, surrealistic fantasy, portraiture and illustration. I work in pencil, conte, charcoal, gouache, watercolour and oil.
