Juvenile faces multiple charges

A 16 year-old boy is facing a number of charges after he allegedly attempted to evade police around 3pm yesterday. The Bentley Park youth was arrested by Cairns detectives late last night and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, evading police, unlicensed driving, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving an uninsured vehicle and stealing. He is due to appear in the Cairns Children’s Court later this month.
