Known to have the fourth highest North American vertical drop of 4,133 feet of champagne powder, the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is a ski destination that is frequented by snowboarders, telemarkers, and skiers from the different parts of the globe. Located 14 kilometers past the borders of Golden British Columbia, guests can marvel at Kicking Horse Resort’s 2,750 skiable acres of lift-served terrains. More than half of the total area of the resort consists the three large bowls namely the Crystal Bowl, Fuez Bowl, and Bowl Over. Skiers can also try the 10 kilometers long run named as It’s a 10. Annual snowfall of the mountain is about 700 cm at the summit and 254 at the base area.

At present, the resort is serviced by the Golden Eagle Express, a high speed gondola that takes riders and skiers from the base to the peak area. They also have the two smaller chairlifts, and a fixed-grip quad. The resort provides hotels, cabins, townhouses, and lodges as preferred by the guests.
