The Platzl is a pedestrian mall in the downtown centre. Modelled on a Bavarian theme, the Platzl combines unique shops with an European village atmosphere. Visitors may see a wandering accordionist performing, the town mascot Happy Hans, and one of the Platzl's most popular features the large free standing Cuckoo Clock in North America.
