My favorite place in New York City is King Park in brooklyn. I like this place because it more than just a park. Its where people come to chill and hang out while they waiting for their friend or relative to get their hair cut. Sometimes people with braids and dreads come in even though they dont get hair cuts they just come in to join in on the conversation and with whats going on. People come in and try and sell you anything, they try to sell you chains, cds, bootleg dvds and almost anything you can think of. Then you have people who try and come in and feed you information that they dont even know about. For instance you get your random people all the time who come in and tell you about the fight that happened around the corner, except they didn't even see the fight they just heard probably from someone who heard about what happened andf how the fight started. Sometimes there are other things that happen, like someone would get a fresh haircut, and that would start a whole large conversation about that. Then sometimes my friends would take pictures of people who are really known in the park. Some people are known for playing basketball and being really good at it. Or from playing handball really well or something. Other people are probably known from fighting all the time and knocking people out. This Park is a really good park its kind of like a family park, because one weekends its usually packed with different families from all over who bring their kids out to the park to have a good time. It makes me really comfortable to be in because Im well known and I have a good time over there. The park is sort of like having a membership to go there, because you usually see everyone all the time. Its never really any new faces there.
