Kitagawa Village Onsen

This is a nice, friendly little onsen about 20 minutes drive from route 55. It's been recently refurbished with both Japanese and Western themed outdoor baths added. The family bath is also worth a try - there's a private outdoor bath, plus a giant yuzu shaped indoor bath.
Entry costs 500 yen for adults, 250 yen for kids. The private bath is an additional 500 yen per person.
