A 25-year-old Mowbray woman was intercepted by police last Wednesday after she was allegedly caught speeding at 87km per hour in a 60km zone on the Captain Cook Highway at Ellis Beach. Further investigation by Police revealed that she had allegedly held a learner’s permit for only one day and that she had two unrestrained infants in the vehicle at the time. The woman was issued infringement notices for speeding and driving with unrestrained children.
