Leicester Education Improvement Partnership has been established for a few years. Originally designed to unite all Leicester’s secondary schools around the improvement and achievement agenda in the wake of challenging Authority-wide DCSF targets, the EIP wanted to move to its next phase of development.
Working with The Innovation Unit since June 2008, the work has focused on building a forward-looking transformation strategy and role for the EIP in 14-19 education in Leicester. The EIP is now exploring, with governors and stakeholders, models of system-wide governance for 14-19 provision
