Never having been to Lupin but having heard of it (sometimes favorably and sometimes not in the harsh realities of the AANR vs TNS forums) I was somewhat pleasantly taken aback at how well-done their website was and how it seemed to be talking to me. I became engrossed in a very detailed history of the italics('ups') and italics('downs') of building a naturist resort, the nasty split with ASA (the forerunner of AANR) and how the 'nude beach' movement that later became TNS, were all tied up in Lupin's history.

Lupin's offers everything a nudist resort should be (they prefer to call hemselves 'naturists' and I agree); including year-round swimming pool, spas, clubhouse with full-time restaurant, tennis and volleyball courts, and miles of hiking trails. I'm impressed.

Add the Mediterrainian climate and Lupin may be a perfect destination stop when you're in the San Francisco Bay area. AANR, TNS and INF members receive discounts, of course; and there is no gender or singles discrimination at Lupin.
