A 35-year-old Kewarra Beach man has been arrested and charged with high range drink driving as well as dangerous operation of a motor vehicle after a two vehicle traffic crash at Edge Hill on Wednesday evening. Police were called to the Boden Street crash scene around 8.30pm where it is alleged the man had crashed his Mitsubishi utility into a stationary vehicle that was parked on the street. The driver was not injured as a result of the crash and is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on February 5.
