Man arrested following CBD disturbance

A 41-year-old Bayview Heights man is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on April 20 following a disturbance outside a Spence Street nightclub on Saturday evening. It is alleged that the man made threats to club staff after being asked to leave the club shortly after 11pm. It is further alleged that the man then kicked over a motor scooter that was parked outside the premise. He was charged with committing a public nuisance as well as willful damage.
