Police have charged a 21-year-old Holloway’s Beach man with drink driving (UIL) and disqualified driving after they allegedly located him with a bogged vehicle near cane fields at Machans Beach yesterday. Officers saw the man running into cane fields around 2pm and went to investigate. Police will allege the man returned a breath alcohol reading of 0.127%. He is due to appear at the Cairns Magistrates Court on the March 19.
