Police have charged a 32-year-old Cairns man with wilful damage following an incident at an Aplin Street business on March 25. It is alleged that the man was outside the premises at about 7.30pm when he became involved in an argument with another man before punching a window at the front of the building, causing it to shatter. The man then walked to the Cairns Base Hospital and sought treatment for injuries to his arm. He is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on April 14.
