Man arrested over numerous offences, Cairns

Officers from the Cairns Tactical Crime Squad located and arrested a 20-year-old Woree man on Wednesday who had been sought in relation to a number of offences allegedly committed throughout the Cairns area during recent months. Edmonton detectives charged the man with 11 offences including stealing; serious assault; willful damage; dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and other offences. He is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court later today.
