Police have charged a 39-year-old Woree man in relation to nine separate thefts of fuel from local fuel stations. It is alleged that the offences occurred between November 2009 and January 2010. The man was intercepted at Palm Cove on Saturday afternoon and taken to the Smithfield Police station where he was later charged in relation to the incidents. He is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on May 31.
