Man charged over burglary and other offences, Bentley Park

A 29-year-old Manoora man has been remanded to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on May 11 following a number of incidents at Bentley Park on Tuesday night. It is alleged that a man forced entry to a Golden Grove Drive house at about 10pm and fled after being disturbed by a resident. It is further alleged that the man fled through a number of house yards and used a brick paver to smash a window at another residence. Police apprehended the man a short time later and he was charged with burglary; wilful damage and trespass offences.
