Man charged over burglary offence, North Cairns

A 46-year-old Westcourt man was charged on Monday following the unlawful entry of a Lake Street residential unit on Sunday morning. A female resident at the unit allegedly awoke to find the man in the living room of the unit and he then left. The man was arrested on Monday afternoon and charged with burglary. He is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court later today.
