Police have charged a 49-year-old Westcourt man with assault occasioning bodily harm following a disturbance at an Earl Street unit on Saturday afternoon. A 41-year-old woman who is known to the man sustained a cut injury to her left arm as a result of the incident which occurred at about 2.45pm. He is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court later today.
