A 37-year-old Cairns man was arrested yesterday afternoon following a disturbance in the car park of a retail complex on Balaclava Road. It is alleged the man assaulted two males, aged 18 and 16, before damaging a car that was owned by one of the victims. The man was charged with assault, wilful damage and possession of an implement used to damage property. He is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on March 10.
