Man charged over fraud, Machan’s Beach

Smithfield Detectives have charged a 32-year–old Redlynch man with fraud following an investigation. It is alleged that the man had assisted another man to prepare and lodge a tax return and then fraudulently received the proceeds of the return. He is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on January 4.
