Cairns detectives have charged a 60-year-old Innisfail man after he allegedly attempted to obtain medication using fraudulent scripts on three occasions at a McLeod Street pharmacy. Police will allege that the man produced fraudulent prescriptions on September 2 and September 9 before he was arrested producing a third prescription yesterday. The man was charged with two counts of fraud and one count of attempted fraud. He is scheduled to appear at the Cairns Magistrates Court on October 28.
