Man charged over fraudulent prescription, Manunda

A 29-year-old Kanimbla man was yesterday charged after he attempted to have a fraudulent script filled at a Manunda pharmacy around 3.40pm yesterday. Police were contacted after suspicions were raised about the validity of the script. The man was charged with attempted fraud, he is scheduled to appear at the Cairns Magistrates Court later this month.
