Detectives yesterday charged a 28-year-old Mt Sheridan man with indecent assault and two counts of attempted willful damage following an incident at a Mount Sheridan house in the early hours of Monday morning. It is alleged the man assaulted a 19-year-old woman in the house before attempting to damage two vehicles which were parked outside. The man was a resident at the house at the time of the incident. He is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on January 4.
